The Mathematics Information Services has negotiated first licenses

As a successor of the Special Subject Collections in Pure and Applied Mathematics, the Mathematics Information Service has been established at the beginning of 2015. Directly involved are the Göttingen State and University Library (SUB) and the Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB) Hanover, they are supported by the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach. The aim ist to provide the mathematical community with special mathematical literature specificly and demand-orientedly, in particular in electronical form.

In collaboration with the Center of Competence for Licensing of Electronic Resources, the Mathematics Information Services has purchased licenses for two journal bundles for the period of 2015 till 2017:

    Euclid Prime, 2015-2017 (Project Euclid)
    MSP-Journals, 2015-2017 (Mathematical Sciences Publishers/MSP)

These are available not only at the mathematical faculties and institutes of German universities, but also on the whole campus. Hence, they are available also for students of other faculties like the technical, natural, economical or social sciences.

A list of all journals being provided by the Mathematics Information Services in the period of 2015 till 2017 can be found at the Electronic Journals Library (EZB).
